Settle
Pay vendor bills and purchase orders, land SKU costs, sync to QuickBooks, and finance inventory when cash is tight.
Best for
US CPG and ecommerce brands that buy inventory, want one inbox from PO to vendor payment, and may need a loan on those same bills.
Not ideal if
A service shop with no inventory, or anyone who only needs cheap generic bill pay next to QuickBooks. Skip it if you need Settle to be the ledger, or if you need 1099 e-file in the product.
Standout
Purchase orders, bill match, vendor pay, SKU landed cost, and optional inventory financing sit in one workflow and sync out to QuickBooks or Xero.
About Settle
Settle is the procure-to-pay layer for inventory brands, not the ledger. You create a purchase order from your Shopify catalog, a CSV, or manual items, then forward or upload the vendor bill. Settle captures the lines, matches them to the PO and receipt, routes approvals, and pays by ACH, check, or wire. Bills and payments sync to QuickBooks Online, Xero, Finaloop, or NetSuite. You still close those books. If you are approved, Settle Working Capital can pay the vendor now and you repay Settle later.
It does not replace QuickBooks Online or Xero. Melio is cheaper generic bill pay without purchase orders or landed cost. BILL is the heavier AP and AR seat ladder with 1099 e-file in the product. Ramp is card-first spend, not a PO-to-bill inbox. Kick replaces the ledger instead of sitting next to it. Settle's job is buying inventory, paying vendors, and writing the trail back to the file you already have.
People who stick usually sell physical goods, care about true cost per SKU, and want one inbox from order to payment. The free Launch plan covers core AP and procurement with unlimited seats. Accountants get a free multi-client dashboard so they can queue bills and the owner just pays.
What people who used it say
What they tend to like
One place instead of the PO spreadsheet
Vendor-hosted Branch story: the AP specialist stopped living in a spreadsheet and now matches POs to bills in Settle.
Accountant queues, owner pays
Decimal (named on the accountants page) maps bills to QuickBooks and lets the client focus on payment.
Support on the financing side
Trustpilot search snippets (full page blocked this pass) praise responsiveness and cash-flow partnership. Treat as thin, not a scored review.
What they hesitate about
The software price is not the bill that matters
Third-party TCO writeups point at working-capital interest, not the $0 / $199 SaaS card. Official pages do not publish a rate grid.
Fee pages do not agree
Pricing page: domestic wires free, international $15 on Launch. Help (30 Jul 2026): Launch $10 domestic / $15 international; Accelerate $9 / $13. FX markup exists and is unpublished.
Almost no owner-forum trail
Reddit, HN, and Indie Hackers searches for settle.com / app.settle.co / Settle Working Capital did not turn up a usable first-person bookkeeping thread this pass.

Close still happens in QuickBooks Online, Xero, Finaloop, or NetSuite. Review PO-bill matches, landed-cost allocations, and any financed bills that moved AP onto a Settle loan payable. Help: QBO syncs the sum of line items, not the header total. Split FX payments can fail the export and need a journal.
Invite the accountant on the free partner dashboard, or they work in the connected ledger. W-9 and W-8 collection is in the product. 1099 e-file is not documented.

Features
Capture bills and pay vendors
Forward, email, or upload invoices. Settle extracts line items, then you pay by ACH, fast ACH, check, domestic wire, or international wire. Pricing page (12 Sep 2026): ACH, fast ACH, checks, and domestic wires are free on both plans. International wires are $15 on Launch and free on Accelerate. Failed transfers are $20. Bills over $200,000 get a 2-day processing delay on every method.
Purchase orders and overbilling alerts
Build a PO from the Shopify catalog, a CSV, or manual items and send a branded PDF. Launch flags overbilling. Automated 3-way match, multiple shipments per PO or work order, milestone tracking, volume-based vendor costs, and landed-cost history start on Accelerate ($199/mo).
SKU landed costs, optional Shopify write
Add freight, duties, and other expenses on the PO. Invoices update SKU-level landed cost. You can push that figure to Shopify Cost per item. Settle does not overwrite your Shopify catalog or sync on-hand counts back to the store.
Approvals with unlimited seats
Route bills, payments, and POs by vendor, amount, or category. Launch includes custom approval workflows and base roles. Accelerate adds custom roles, a dedicated success manager, and white-glove onboarding. Both plans: unlimited seats, no per-user fee.
Working capital on a bill or PO
If approved, Settle pays the vendor and you repay on published flexible terms (FAQ: 30–120 days; working-capital page also cites 30–210 days). Offers run from $20K to $15M. Typical annual revenue must be above $300,000. Official example: 1.4% per month simple interest, about 17.03% APR. Not a published rate card.
Sync bills and payments to the ledger
Help center: QuickBooks Online, Xero, and NetSuite (NetSuite listed as beta in the sync glossary). Pricing page also names Finaloop. Help: the QBO sync sends the sum of line items, not a header total, so you need at least one line. You still close in the connected books.
Pricing
A 5-person inventory shop that only needs bill pay and POs can stay on Launch at $0, plus $15 per international wire and $20 if a transfer fails. Accelerate is $199 every month (sales tax may apply). That software bill is the small number. Working capital is quote-only after approval, typically if annual revenue is above $300,000, from $20K to $15M. Official example: 1.4% per month simple interest, about 17.03% APR. Help still lists older wire fees ($10/$15 Launch, $9/$13 Accelerate) that do not match the pricing page fetched 12 Sep 2026. FX includes an unpublished markup.
