Perk
Travel booking, expenses, and policy in one app, with Visa debit cards that attach spend to the trip.
Best for
Teams that book travel every month and want the same policy, cards, and receipt checks on the trip and the meals around it.
Not ideal if
Shops that rarely travel, or US teams that need to start this week without a waitlist or sales call.
Standout
One AI policy layer that can block an out-of-policy booking and flag an out-of-policy receipt, plus unlimited Visa debit cards that attach to the same trip.
About Perk
Perk (the TravelPerk rebrand) is a travel and spend platform, not a ledger. Employees book flights, hotels, trains, and cars inside the app. Policy applies at booking. Receipts get photographed on the phone, matched to a card charge or claim, and checked against the same rules. Finance exports or syncs coded expenses into the accounting system instead of rebuilding the trip from inboxes.
It does not replace QuickBooks Online or Xero. The trip record lives here, then a spend export or a Xero connector (DATEV and Xero on Spend Premium) hands coded lines to the books. That is the opposite of Ramp (a card program with travel on the same login) or Expensify (a phone camera for out-of-pocket receipts). Navan is the closer US booking-plus-expense stack if you want a product you can start without a waitlist. Confirm QuickBooks Online on Perk's US connector list before you buy; the public Spend table we saw did not list it.
People who stick with Perk are usually teams that already book travel every month and want the same rules on the fare and the dinner. They care most about travelers staying in one app, and finance getting a coded trip instead of three inboxes.

Features
Book the trip in policy
Employees search flights, hotels, trains, and cars in the app. Starter includes one travel policy. Premium includes 10. Pro is unlimited. Out-of-policy options can be blocked or routed before the money leaves.
AI receipt capture and policy check
Photograph a receipt on iPhone or Android. Perk reads the line items, matches the card charge, and applies expense rules (10 on Spend Premium, unlimited on Pro) before the report sits in a queue.
Perk Visa debit cards
Issue unlimited physical, virtual, and lodge Platinum Visa debit cards at no extra card fee. Set spend limits. Premium lists 0.5% cashback; Pro lists 1%. External card feeds are one per entity.
Trip and expense as one record
Booked travel can spawn the expense, assign a per diem, and attach the itinerary so meals and ground transport sit on the same trip instead of three personal-card claims.
Export or sync to the books
Spend Premium includes a spend export file plus DATEV and Xero connectors. Pro adds the rest of their ERP connectors and an OpenAPI. Confirm QuickBooks Online on the North America list before you buy.
Mobile booking and approvals
The Perk app (iOS and Android) holds the itinerary, live flight updates, receipt camera, card requests, and travel approvals so the traveler does not need a laptop at the hotel.
Pricing
A 10-person team that only needs expenses lands on Spend Premium at $13 per active user. Add travel and the combined rate starts at $11 per user, plus booking fees if you use their inventory. Travel-only Starter looks free until 5% of every booking shows up. Compare that to Navan travel (free under 300 employees) before you sign.
